This time last year, our brilliant Creative Director, Thabisa Mjo, was deep in the creative trenches, working on pieces commissioned by Dolce & Gabbana for Milan Design Week 2024. It was an inspiring whirlwind of craftsmanship, vision, and dedication — a true testament to what can be achieved when creativity meets purpose.

Take a pendant light, for example. Hanging straight down is the norm, but what happens when you turn it sideways? Suddenly, that same fixture becomes a bold, unexpected design element. Just like that, you’ve breathed new life into something old.
This is exactly what happened when our client, HK Studios, asked us to turn the top brass pendant on its side. And just like that, the Floooot Pendant was born!
